We're an authorised BOC agent, and all our BOC gas is swap and go for BOC account holders. Welding, workshop, forklift and industrial gas swaps happen at the Narangba counter and not on a long drive each way. Bring in your empty BOC cylinder, tell us the gas and the size, and we'll swap it over from the rack. We scan the cylinders in and out and BOC bills your account.
We're open seven days from 6am on weekdays, which suits the trades starting early. Call 07 3888 0177 if you want us to check stock before you come.
How Swap and Go Works
Three steps and you're out the door.
1. Have a BOC account
Swap and go runs on your BOC account. BOC handles all the billing and accounting, so you need to be set up with BOC before you come in.
2. Bring the empty
Bring your empty BOC cylinder to the counter at 605 Old Gympie Rd and tell us the gas and size. Keep the valve closed and the cylinder upright and secured in the vehicle.
3. We scan, you go
We scan your empty in and a full cylinder out, and it goes straight onto your BOC account. You're back on the job without a trip across to a BOC depot.

Getting Cylinders Home Safely
- Carry cylinders upright and secured so they can't roll or fall.
- Keep the valve closed and the vehicle ventilated. Don't leave cylinders sitting in a hot, closed car.
- Check hoses, regulators and fittings before you connect a full cylinder. We stock replacements if anything looks tired.

What is BOC swap and go?
You bring in your empty BOC cylinder and we swap it for a full one of the same gas. We scan the cylinders in and out and the charge goes to your BOC account, so there is no waiting while a cylinder is refilled.
Do I need a BOC account to use swap and go?
Yes. Swap and go runs through your BOC account. We are the BOC agent that scans the cylinders in and out, and all the money and accounting is handled by BOC, not by us. If you are not sure whether your account is set up, or you need one, call us on 07 3888 0177 and we will point you in the right direction.
Can I swap my BBQ gas bottle?
No. BBQ and household LPG bottles are refilled here, not swapped. Bring the empty bottle in and we refill it. See our gas bottle refills page for sizes and prices.
Which gases are swap and go?
All our BOC gas is swap and go for BOC account holders: oxygen, acetylene, argon, Argoshield, CO2, nitrogen, LPG and Handigas, forklift gas, Ripegas and helium. Ask at the counter if you are not sure about the gas or size you need.
Do I need to book a swap?
No, just bring the empty in during opening hours. If you need several cylinders or a less common gas, call ahead on 07 3888 0177 and we will check stock and have it ready.
Can I get regulators, hoses and welding gear at the same time?
Yes. The BOC Gas and Gear counter carries regulators, hoses, flashback arrestors, MIG and TIG torches, tips, wire, rods and welding PPE, so you can sort the gas and the gear in one stop.
When can I swap a cylinder?
We are open seven days: Mon – Fri 6:00am – 5:30pm, Saturday 6:30am – 5:30pm, Sunday 7:00am – 4:00pm.
